HCT education & interpretation
The Trust, with a collection of over 150 birds of prey, is set in 22 acres of grounds, made up of woodland and a seven acre wildflower meadow.
Not only a tourism attraction, the Trust’s mission also focuses on conservation, education, research and rehabilitation. There is a wealth of information to convey to the visiting public, and alongside the demonstrations and talks, on-site interpretation and educational resources serve an important role.
Projects have included interpretation boards for the National Bird of Prey Hospital, a teachers’ pack for the education department and some 50+ species-specific panels for the Trust’s aviaries.
